An incredibly successful 2012 witnessed Big Heritage delivering on several new projects, such as EcoViking, using Viking archaeology to illustrate sustainable and green lifestyles to schoolchildren across the Wirral, Merseyside and Cheshire. Big Heritage also further developed the Archaeology for Schools programme successfully engaging many schools with Viking and Roman based archaeology workshops.

Big Heritage has several new projects lined up for 2013 including The Roman Medicine Roadshow, bringing Roman medical practices to life in all it's visceral glory and History for Health aimed at helping at risk groups develop archaeological skills that promote a healthy lifestyle. Keep posted for more details on how you can get involved!

Alongside  these exciting new projects, Big Heritage hopes to continue to develop and expand our school workshops delivering our unique brand of archaeology to more schools and colleges than ever before.

Fingers crossed for a great 2013!
