HISTFEST 2018

A Brand-New History Festival Coming to London

HistFest: 7-8 December 2018

A brand-new history festival is coming to London this December. Founded by Rebecca Rideal (historian and author of 1666: Plague, War and Hellfire) and Dan Morelle (CEO of the multi-media creative agency, Laluma), HistFest will take place on the 7th and 8th December 2018 and will take 'history' in its very fullest sense. There will be as many talks, seminars and workshops with academics as there will be with well-known historians and speakers. By bringing together the many branches of history, HistFest will not only educate and entertain, but to also address some of the big questions about the use and misuse of history on the world stage.

Speakers announced so far include: Dr Sunny Singh, Chris Skaife (Tower of London Ravenmaster), Professor Margot Finn, Dr Janina Ramirez, Dr Olivette Otele, Amber Butchart, Dr Islam Issa, Anita Rani, Greg Jenner, and Dr Adam Rutherford.
