Two recent projects undertaken by Big Heritage have been highlighted by a health report as having a positive health impact upon communities in Wirral.

The report provided an evaluation of the social value created by the "Life Expectancy Wirral" initiative and was commissioned by The Applied Health and Wellbeing Partnership. Two projects organised by Big Heritage; History for Health and Discovering Bromborough were singled out as effective ways of utilising urban green space for positive health impacts upon participants.

Company founder Dean Paton said: "We've been in no doubt that archaeology and local history can have considerable physical and mental health benefits for participants but this report provides independent confirmation that we're having an impact on people's lives."
